Questions & Tips

Here you will find all the information and answers to your questions about our products.
Our tip: Plus
The use of lubricating gel facilitates the insertion of the cones. However, this can make training more difficult, as the cones can slide out more easily.
When should you use the Pelvic Floor Trainer Phase I actively and when the Pelvic Floor Trainer Phase II? Plus
The Pelvic Floor Trainer Phase I actively naturally promotes awareness and conscious muscle control of the pelvic floor and strengthens weakened pelvic floor muscles. As soon as the pelvic floor muscles can be well perceived and you are satisfied with the condition of the pelvic floor muscles, a continuous follow-up training with the Pelvic Floor Trainer Phase II is recommended to maintain muscle strength and prevent renewed relaxation.
What is the difference between the Pelvic Floor Trainer Phase I active and the Pelvic Floor Trainer Phase II? Plus
The two training aids differ in their application and function. The effect of Phase I active is based on the biofeedback principle. This means that with the vaginally inserted cones of Phase I active, slipping out should be prevented by actively tensing the pelvic floor muscles. The vaginal cone of Phase II, on the other hand, does not slip out, but remains inserted throughout the application and passively stimulates the pelvic floor through silent vibrations. The two white contact surfaces on the cord side of the cone and the stimulation islands help to transmit the vibrations particularly well.
What should you do if you cannot hold the lightest cone? Plus
In this case, we recommend performing the exercises from the exercise booklet without an inserted cone or exercises while lying down or in an inclined position (from page 6). Then the entire weight of the cone does not press down. If there is no noticeable improvement in the pelvic floor muscles with continued training, medical advice should be sought.
How deep should the cones be inserted? Plus
The cones should be inserted completely and about 3-4 cm deep into the vagina with the index and/or middle finger, similar to a tampon. No other objects or aids should be used for insertion to avoid injuries. The use of a water-based lubricating gel can simplify insertion.
How long and how often should you train with the Pelvic Floor Trainer Phase I active? Plus
For the best possible muscle development, it is recommended to train twice a day (morning and evening) for approx. 10 minutes each. The recommended training time should not be exceeded, as this can lead to muscle soreness.
Can the Pelvic Floor Trainer Phase I active be used during pregnancy? Plus
During an uncomplicated pregnancy, training with the cones can strengthen the pelvic floor and prevent possible subsequent complaints. In case of vaginal infections, inflammations or discomfort in the intimate area, as well as in case of a problematic pregnancy, the use of the pelvic floor training aids should be refrained from.
May the Pelvic Floor Trainer Phase I active be used immediately after birth? Plus
No. After birth, pelvic floor training or postpartum recovery should only begin after consultation with a doctor or midwife. This is because it must be ensured that injuries and scars that can occur during birth have healed and the cervix is closed.
Can the Pelvic Floor Trainer Phase I active be used if you wear an IUD? Plus
Yes. Simultaneous use of an IUD (intrauterine device) and the Pelvic Floor Trainer Phase I active is possible (as is wearing a cervical cap, contraceptive ring or diaphragm). However, the correct positioning must be checked before and after each training session. In case of doubt, medical advice should be sought before use.
Can the Pelvic Floor Trainer Phase I active be used in case of uterine prolapse and effectively counteract it? Plus
In case of uterine prolapse (as well as prolapse of other pelvic organs), each individual case must be considered. Medical consultation should take place and individually suitable therapeutic measures should be taken.
Are the materials skin-friendly? Plus
Yes. All materials that come into contact with the skin have been tested as part of a biocompatibility evaluation in accordance with DIN EN ISO 10993-1 (Biological evaluation of medical devices - Part 1): the retrieval cord, the plastic used and the four cone colors used. As part of our purchasing and quality management process, it is continuously checked that only materials that exactly meet the specification are used.
What is the size of the individual cones? Plus
The size of the four cones is comparable to the size of a commercially available tampon. They have a diameter of approx. 2.2 cm at the widest point and are approx. 5 cm long without the cord.
What is the weight of the individual cones? Plus
Each cone has a different color and a different weight: yellow 20 g, blue 28 g, green 52 g, violet 71 g
