Product description

Our ELANEE silk-wool nursing pads reliably protect clothing from breast milk and are especially gentle on sore nipples. The washable nursing pads are pleasantly soft and barely noticeable. They are made of wool and silk.

The fine silk side is marked with a pink color and should be placed towards the chest. The wool side protects clothing thanks to its absorbency.

Both layers have an open knit that ensures good air circulation. These reusable nursing pads are an environmentally friendly alternative to disposable nursing pads, as they can be easily hand-washed.

The silk side is placed toward the breast. Sore, cracked nipples heal best when exposed to air. Therefore, affected individuals should wear as light clothing as possible, or even no clothing at all. Since this isn't always possible in everyday life, we recommend our silk-wool nursing pads due to their airy knit.

The nursing pads are made of 50% silk and 50% wool.

Soak the nursing pads in lukewarm water with wool detergent, then rinse thoroughly, squeeze dry with a towel, shape, and dry flat. A little vinegar in the rinse water prevents the wool from felting. A certain inherent odor from silk is normal. ELANEE silk-wool nursing pads can be disposed of with normal household waste.

How often should you change or wash your nursing pads?

Nursing pads should be changed when they are saturated. They should be washed after each use.

Are the washable nursing pads suitable for washing machines or dryers?

No! The nursing pads are made of wool and silk and should therefore only be hand-washed and air-dried.

Which side should be placed against the breast?

The nursing pads are inserted into the bra with the silk side facing the breast. The silk side is marked with a pink thread.

Can nursing pads stay in your bra while sleeping?

Yes, the soft nursing pads are particularly comfortable to wear, even at night.
