Questions & Tips

Here you will find all the information and answers to your questions about our products.
How do I use the cherry pit pillow correctly? Plus
The cherry pit pillow serves as a natural heat pack and can provide soothing warmth for period pain, tension, abdominal pain, or cold feet. Simply heat it according to the instructions, place it on the affected area, and relax.
How do I heat the cherry pit pillow? Plus
The heating pad can be heated to the correct temperature in both the microwave and the oven: Microwave: max. 300 watts for a maximum of 2 minutes. Preheated oven: max. 110 °C for up to 5 minutes. Caution: Do not overheat and always check the temperature before applying it – especially to children. Do not leave the pillow unattended while heating.
The pillow isn't warm enough yet – can I heat it longer? Plus
Our time and wattage settings are designed to ensure the pillow reliably reaches a comfortable minimum temperature. Since microwave ovens can vary in power, it may be necessary to carefully extend the heating time. If more heat is desired, reheat the pillow under supervision in 15-second intervals at the specified wattage. After heating, briefly shake the pillow to ensure even heat distribution.
Is the cherry pit pillow also suitable for children? Plus
Yes, children from toddler age onwards can safely use the pillow. It's easy to handle, pleasant against the skin, and provides gentle warmth – perfect for tummy aches or cold hands. Always check the temperature before use. For babies, smaller pillows filled with grape seeds or flax seeds are recommended, as they are easier to snuggle into and lighter.
What materials are used? Plus
The pillow is filled with carefully cleaned, dried cherry pits. The cover is made of 100% cotton and complies with OEKO-TEX® Standard 100.
Can I wash the cherry pit pillow? Plus
No, please do not wash the pillow or put it in the dryer, as moisture would damage the cherry pits. To clean it, simply wipe the surface with a slightly damp cloth.
Where is the ELANEE heating pad produced? Plus
It is manufactured in Germany in workshops for people with disabilities. This ensures the product combines high quality, sustainability, and social responsibility.
