Product description

Our ELANEE Intimate Hydrogel is a medical-grade lubricant that can be used as an aid for penetration during intercourse or for training with our pelvic floor exercise aids. It is also suitable for perineal massage as part of birth preparation. This lubricant, enriched with soothing panthenol, has a pH value of 4.5–4.9 and is water-based. Thanks to its particularly gentle and non-irritating ingredients, it is also suitable for use on sensitive intimate areas. The intimate hydrogel is odorless, tasteless, water-soluble, and oil-free.

Note: Our intimate hydrogel is not a contraceptive and does not contain any spermicidal agents.

Note: Due to the pH value of the intimate hydrogel, it should not be used if you are trying to conceive (during your fertile days).

Can the lubricant be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

Yes, our intimate hydrogel can be used during pregnancy and while breastfeeding.

Why shouldn't you use the intimate hydrogel if you're trying to conceive?

During the fertile period, the vaginal pH is elevated (approximately 7.0–7.5) to create optimal conditions for sperm. The pH of our intimate hydrogel is too acidic at less than 5 and should therefore not be used as a lubricant during the fertile period if you're trying to conceive.

Is the intimate hydrogel vegan?

Yes, it is vegan.

Why is the intimate hydrogel water-based?

Water-based lubricants provide natural moisture. They are perfect as an insertion aid, as they can be used with condoms and, for example, our pelvic floor exercise aids without damaging their surface.
