Our ELANEE Intimate Hydrogel is a medical lubricant that can be used as an insertion aid during sexual intercourse or for pelvic floor training. In addition, it is suitable for perineal massage in preparation for childbirth. The lubricant, enriched with nourishing panthenol, has a pH value of 4.5 – 4.9 and is water-based. Thanks to its particularly gentle and non-irritating ingredients, it is also suitable for use on sensitive intimate areas. The Intimate Hydrogel is odorless and tasteless, as well as water-soluble and fat-free.

Note: Our Intimate Hydrogel is not a contraceptive and does not contain any spermicidal agents.

Yes, our intimate hydrogel can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Why should the intimate hydrogel not be used when trying to conceive?

During fertile days, the vaginal pH level is elevated (approx. 7.0 – 7.5) to create optimal conditions for sperm. The pH level of our intimate hydrogel is "too acidic" at under 5 and should therefore not be used as a lubricant during fertile days when trying to conceive.

Is the intimate hydrogel vegan?

Yes, the intimate hydrogel is vegan.

Why is the intimate hydrogel water-based?

Water-based lubricants provide natural moisture. They are perfect as an insertion aid because they can be used with condoms and pelvic floor trainers without damaging their surface.
