ELANEE breast milk storage bags are designed for the hygienic and safe storage and freezing of up to 180 ml of breast milk in the refrigerator or freezer. Made from food-grade, BPA-free*, freezer-safe material, the bags are pre-sterilized and feature a double safety seal. The click when closing allows you to feel and hear that the bag is securely sealed. The thermally sealed seams prevent leakage of your precious breast milk. Thanks to the double-walled material, the bags do not absorb unpleasant odors from the refrigerator or freezer, ensuring optimal preservation of your breast milk. The high-quality construction and stand-up base allow the breast milk storage bags to be stored and frozen either lying down or standing upright. A clear scale with ml markings on the bag helps you determine the fill level. This can be recorded in the convenient labeling area, along with the date.

Areas of application

This is how we fill breast milk into our bags:
Open the hygienic seal and the double safety lock on the breast milk bag. Pour the expressed breast milk into the bag and read the measured amount from the scale. Press all the air out of the bag and seal it. Write the filling date and amount in the labeling area, preferably with a waterproof pen.

You can store the bag flat or upright in the refrigerator or freezer. Make sure the bag doesn't touch other frozen food or drag it across icy surfaces. This could cause the material to become brittle or porous. It's best to store frozen breast milk bags in a separate compartment or place a cloth or wipe between your frozen food and the breast milk bags.

This is how to thaw breast milk in our breast milk bags:
Filled breast milk bags should be thawed slowly in the refrigerator or at room temperature. To do this, place the bag upside down in a clean container. This will catch any leaking milk. For faster thawing, the breast milk can be thawed under warm running water or in a water bath at a maximum of 37°C.

Tip: If different layers form in the milk, shake the bag so that the milk and milk fat mix again.

Further information

There are important points to consider when storing, freezing and thawing breast milk.

Frozen breast milk bags should be stored very carefully, preferably in a separate compartment.
Thawed breast milk should not be refrozen.
Warm breast milk should not be mixed with frozen breast milk.
Do not use boiling water, a microwave or an oven for thawing.
The breast milk bags must not be reused.
