ELANEE Vaginal Ovules (medical device) form a protective barrier on the vaginal mucosa, moisturising it and protecting it from damage caused by vaginal dryness, sexual intercourse, gynaecological examinations or physical activity. The use of the
vaginal ovules improves the elasticity of the vagina, maintains and restores the physiological vaginal pH, which promotes a healthy vaginal flora and reduces unpleasant odours. The vaginal suppositories contain lactic acid, the substance responsible for the product's pH, and the active ingredient sodium hyaluronate. They are hormone-free and free from PEGs and parabens.

The product contains 10 individually wrapped ovules for vaginal use and instructions for use.

Our vaginal ovules are suitable for use:

To prevent unwanted changes in the vaginal flora and pH level (e.g., due to travel, swimming pool, sauna, fitness, antibiotic therapy) by moisturizing and maintaining the natural pH level of the vagina.
Relief of the symptoms of vaginal dryness (discomfort, tightness, itching, burning of the vaginal mucosa) associated with:
- Atrophy of the vaginal mucosa
- Estrogen deficiency
- Dyspareunia (painful sexual intercourse)
- Persistent stress
For additional moisturizing of the vaginal epithelium:
- After surgical and gynecological procedures

- After abrasions and other minor mechanical injuries to the vaginal mucosa
- After childbirth
- After chemotherapy, radiation therapy, cryotherapy
- After laser treatments
- Changes caused by taking hormonal medications
- During perimenopause

To reduce unpleasant vaginal odors associated with an abnormal vaginal pH level due to disturbances in the natural vaginal microflora.

The product works at the application site through a physical mechanism. After vaginal application, a moisturizing protective layer forms on the mucous membrane, protecting the vaginal epithelium from mechanical damage and relieving discomfort such as dryness, tightness, itching, and burning of the vaginal mucosa. This protective layer has an acidic pH, which helps normalize the pH of the vagina and the microbiome of the entire female reproductive system. Lactic acid and glycogen are responsible for the acidic pH of the product at the application site.
