What are the benefits of the silver side of the nursing pad?
Bacteria can form in the warm and humid climate inside nursing pads and reach the breast.
The colonization of the skin with bacteria can cause itching, the breast can become inflamed and mastitis can develop.
Especially in warm temperatures, the bacteria can also cause an unpleasant, rancid odor.
The biocidal active ingredient silver (CAS no. 7440-22-4) reduces the colonization and multiplication of microorganisms in the nursing pad due to its antibacterial activity and prevents the development of odours.
What is the benefit of the wool side of the nursing pad?
Wool and Lyocell are natural yarns that absorb and store moisture very well.
This keeps your chest and clothing dry.
Do the nursing pads need to be washed before first use?
For hygiene reasons, we recommend washing the nursing pads after purchase.

How often should I change the nursing pads and how often should I wash them?
The nursing pads should be changed when they are soaked.
They should be washed after each use.
Are the washable nursing pads suitable for the washing machine or tumble dryer?
No!
The nursing pads are made of wool and should therefore only be washed by hand and air-dried.

Can the nursing pads stay in the bra while sleeping?
Yes, the soft nursing pads are particularly comfortable to wear, even at night.

ELANEE silver nursing pads consist of 50 % wool, 42.5 % lyocell, 7.5 % polyamide with a 99 % silver coating.
Please soak in lukewarm water with a little wool detergent, rinse well, squeeze out in a towel, pull into shape and then lay flat to dry.
A certain inherent odor of the wool is quite normal.
