Our ELANEE Washable Silver Nursing Pads reliably protect clothing from breast milk during light to normal milk flow. The washable, antibacterial nursing pads made of wool are pleasantly soft and cooling. Thanks to the coating of silver, the development of unpleasant odors is prevented.
The wool side protects clothes thanks to the absorbency. The open knit, provides good air circulation, which is recommended for stressed nipples. The reusable nursing pads are an environmentally conscious alternative to disposable nursing pads, as they can be easily cleaned by hand washing.

What is the benefit of the silver side of the nursing insert?
In the warm, moist climate inside nursing pads, bacteria can form and reach the breast. The colonization of the skin with bacteria can cause itching, the breast can become inflamed and mastitis can develop. Especially in warm temperatures, the bacteria can also cause an unpleasant, rancid odor.
Due to its antibacterial activity, the biocidal active ingredient silver (CAS No. 7440-22-4) reduces the colonization and multiplication of microorganisms in the nursing pad and prevents the development of odors.
What is the benefit of the wool side of the nursing pad?
Wool and Lyocell are natural yarns that absorb and store liquid very well. So the chest and clothes stay dry.
Do the nursing pads need to be washed before first use?

How often should you change nursing pads or how often should you wash them?
Nursing pads should be changed when they become soaked. They should be washed after each use.
Are the washable nursing pads suitable for the washing machine or dryer?

Can the nursing pads stay in the bra while sleeping?
Yes, the soft nursing pads are especially comfortable to wear, even at night.

ELANEE silver nursing pads are made of 50% wool, 42.5% lyocell, 7.5% polyamide with coating of 99% silver.
Please soak in lukewarm water with a little wool detergent, rinse well, squeeze in a towel, pull into shape and then dry lying down. A certain inherent odor of the wool is quite normal.
