No, our nipple ointment is made from purely natural ingredients that are safe for babies and does not need to be washed off before breastfeeding.
Is the nipple ointment vegan?
No, our formula contains lanolin, i.e. wool grease, which is obtained from the washing of sheep’s wool.
What ingredients does the nipple ointment consist of?
Lanolin, sunflower oil and vitamin E
Our nipple ointment consists of 75% lanolin.
This raw material is purified wool wax with a wool wax alcohol content of less than 3% and a pesticide content of less than 1.5 ppm.
Lanolin is also free from fragrances and colorants.
A proportion of approx. 25% sunflower oil makes the ointment particularly smooth (even at low temperatures in winter).
The shelf life is guaranteed by vitamin E.
