Questions & Tips

Here you will find all the information and answers to your questions about our products.
What can you do if you have difficulty inserting a soft tampon? Plus
To make it easier to insert, moisten the tampon with clean water. Then squeeze the soft tampon thoroughly to ensure maximum fluid absorption.
How do you insert a soft tampon? Plus
1. Hold the outer edges of the soft tampon between two fingers and place a third finger on one flat side of the soft tampon. 2. Squeeze the tampon firmly. Tip: A relaxed position can make insertion easier. You can insert the tampon while standing (e.g., with one leg raised) or while squatting. 3. With your other hand, open your labia and push the tampon into your vagina until it rests against your cervix. Note: If your hymen is intact, please use the soft tampon with caution.
Is the soft tampon reusable? Plus
No, our soft tampons are disposable for hygiene and safety reasons.
How do you remove soft tampons? Plus
The soft tampon doesn't have a removal string, but can be easily removed using the integrated tab. Removal: Hold the soft tampon by the tab with your index or middle finger and gently pull it out. If removal is difficult, squatting or raising one leg may help. If the soft tampon cannot be removed, please consult your gynecologist immediately.
Can you have sex while wearing a soft tampon? Plus
Yes. The material of the tampon is very soft and flexible. This makes it almost unnoticeable. The tampon should be removed or replaced after intercourse.
Can you go swimming with a soft tampon? Plus
Yes. The soft tampon is actually very practical for swimming, as it doesn't have an annoying string.
How deep should the soft tampon be inserted? Plus
The soft tampon is inserted like a regular tampon, up to the cervix.
Can I wear the soft tampons for longer than 8 hours? Plus
To minimize the risk of developing toxic shock syndrome (TSS), good menstrual hygiene is essential. Therefore, we recommend wearing them for a maximum of 8 hours. Proper cleaning (only with reusable menstrual products) and hygienic use (e.g., washing hands) are also particularly important.
What is TSS, and is the risk higher with menstrual cups or tampons? Plus
Toxic shock syndrome (TSS) is an infectious disease caused by bacteria in a wound or in the mucous membranes. There are no clear study findings or expert opinions on whether the risk of developing TSS is higher or lower with tampons or menstrual cups. The topic of maximum wearing time is also controversial. The basic rule is: Good menstrual hygiene is essential, regardless of which hygiene product is used during menstruation. Since menstrual cups are reused, correct cleaning and hygienic use (e.g., washing hands) are particularly important. To keep the risk of infection as low as possible, we recommend wearing them for a maximum of 8 hours and cleaning the menstrual cup before and after sleeping.
